Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about getting inked at Raven's Ink Collective
About Our Style
01 Do you only do mythology and fantasy tattoos?
Yes, mythological and fantasy work is our specialty and focus. All our artists specialize in blackwork, Norse/Celtic mythology, fantasy creatures, and mystical illustrative styles. If you're looking for bright colorful traditional or photorealistic portraits, we're probably not the right fit. However, within mythological aesthetics, we have tremendous range—from bold blackwork ravens to delicate celestial fine line, from epic dragon scenes to subtle runic symbols.
02 I don't know much about mythology—can I still get tattooed here?
Absolutely! While we're passionate about mythology, you don't need to be an expert to appreciate legendary art. Many of our clients simply love the aesthetic of ravens, wolves, geometric patterns, or celestial imagery without deep mythological knowledge. What matters is that you connect with our artistic style and vision. We love sharing the stories behind symbols and helping clients discover mythological imagery that resonates with them personally.
Booking & Appointments
01 Do you accept walk-ins?
We accept walk-ins Friday and Saturday from 12-6 PM, subject to artist availability. Walk-ins can choose from our current flash sheets featuring mythological symbols and fantasy creatures (displayed on Instagram and in-shop). For custom work or guaranteed appointment times, we recommend booking in advance.
02 How far in advance should I book?
For custom work with a specific artist, we recommend booking 2-3 months in advance. If you're flexible on artist or timing, we can sometimes accommodate sooner. Flash designs during walk-in hours are available same-day.
03 What's your design process for custom work?
After booking, you'll have a consultation (in-person or virtual) to discuss your vision and the mythology/symbolism you want to incorporate. Your artist will research the imagery, create a custom design, and present it on the day of your appointment. We include one round of revisions. We don't send designs in advance to prevent copying and ensure you get a truly unique piece.
Requirements & Policies
01 Do you have a minimum age?
Yes, you must be 18+ with valid government-issued photo ID. No exceptions, including parental consent. This is Colorado law.
02 What's your deposit policy?

Deposits are forfeited if appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or if you no-show. Deposits can be transferred to a new appointment date once with at least 48 hours notice. Deposits are non-transferable between artists.
